Kim Bent has been teaching science program through Catch the Science Bug for the past six years. She has a B.S. and M.S. in environmental geosciences from Boston College. She has worked in the environmental industry as a scientist and has spent two years as a public school science teacher. Currently, she is producing a children’s science series for PBS Rhode Island.
In 2004 Kim was recognized as one of the up and coming business leaders by Worcester Business Journal in the 40 Under 40 Awards because of this work and her volunteer work for other organizations such as the Massachusetts Environmental Education Society.
